Our espresso flavoured rub gives a beautifully warm and nutty flavour to a simple Minute steak. Great served with our corn fritters, or simply in a great baguette.

Ingredients
2 115g Minute steaks
2 tsp Life of Spice Hasta Barista Baby
1 small tin sweetcorn (drained)
2 sliced spring onions
50g self raising flour
1 egg
40ml milk
Directions
Heat the oven to 180°C
Rub 1 tsp Hasta Barista Baby into the Minute steak
To make the fritter batter, mix the sweetcorn, spring onions, self raising flour, 1 tsp Hasta Barista Baby, egg and milk in a bowl
Heat a non stick pan on medium high heat
Pour in 3 tbsp of the mixture and cook for 1 minute on each side. Repeat until all fritters are cooked
Bake the fritters in the oven for 10 minutes
Fry the steak to your preference and serve with the fritters
Perfect for the festive cold months, irresistible when warm and gooey, but even better after a few days later when they get to their optimum texture - If they last that long!
